This is reflected perfectly in our Country Manager, Finland & Baltics, Anne Kairto-Poikolainen, who brings more than three decades of experience from leading global technology environments.
With her background in supply chain, logistics, sales and customer support, Anne plays a key role in strengthening SAGA’s position in Finland and the Baltic region.
Anne began her career after graduating in Information Technology in 1991, joining global PC manufacturer ICL. Over nearly ten years — through transitions to Fujitsu and Fujitsu-Siemens — she worked in planning, logistics, sales and assembly.
“Seeing how planning, production and logistics all connect is experience I still carry with me,” Anne says.
When the factory closed in 2000, she continued in the component distribution industry, supporting major international customers. This gave her valuable insight into the electronics value chain and large-scale forecasting.
Anne joined SAGA Components in 2012 (then KVE), and the match was instant.
“SAGA operates in an industry I know well. An interesting opportunity opened — and here I am,” she says with a smile.
Her deep understanding of customer needs and distribution dynamics has made her a trusted partner for OEMs and suppliers across Finland and the Baltics.
Anne sees strong potential in Finland and the Baltic region:
“There is a lot of potential across several business segments — and many innovative start-ups. SAGA will have its own place here and room to grow.”
Electrification, connectivity, industrial automation and sustainability are all creating exciting opportunities.
Anne also highlights what makes SAGA stand out:

Anne believes the coming years will bring both challenges and opportunities:
“AI will change how we work — hopefully helping more than challenging us. And with global uncertainties, we need to stay adaptable.”
Rapid market changes, global uncertainty and geopolitical factors can all influence the industry, but Anne is optimistic:
“New technologies open new doors. We just need to be ready.”

“I could not manage my work without good partnership.
You support customers in every issue, even the tiniest ones, and you never underestimate their needs. With suppliers, it’s about keeping in touch and making things work in a respectful, friendly way.”

Outside the office, Anne recharges with the people — and animals — she loves:
“I like to spend time with my marvelous and funny Finnish Lapland dog, Pena. I also enjoy time with family and friends, and swimming in our beautiful lakes and seas in the summer.”
